A young demon woman who happens to a favourite of a demon lord, Insomnia, and thus she gets just about anything she wants. She is very peppy, maybe a bit ditzy and will attempt to make friends with just about anyone, it really takes someone to stop her from trying to become friends with them. While she is sheltered and naive to a degree, it can be hard to tell how much of her personality is an act.

Being big on fashion Elayna has an extensive wardrobe including many clothes, shoes, and other accessories. She's usually seen in goth and several lolita styles. Happily she has her demon lord to fund her hobby. She also loves to throw lavish tea parties, with guests new and old.

Elayna has a condition where she has a very dulled pain sense, due to this she accidentally injures her self quite frequently and is often seen sporting dressings for small wounds. As a demon her wounds heal fully so the scars she have change as they heal and are then replaced.

She has a girlfriend named Niki with a much more hotheaded and brash personality, Elayna loves to shower her with affection and praise and will tell anyone willing to listen how amazing she is. Niki is sometimes flustered by these moments, especially in public but she really loves Elayna too. The two of them are very close but can enjoy time away from each other just as much. They compliment each others personalities keeping them grounded a little more than they might otherwise be. Elayna is the organiser and yapper of the two and Niki is just happy to spend time with her doing what she wants. How confidently Elayna can present herself is inspiring to her, someone who keeps her walls up all the time. Despite this Niki knows that some of this is Elayna's form of walls, and only when they're alone do the two feel like they can full be themselves.

Insomnia, the demon lord who turned Elayna, treats Elayna like a daughter and in turn she treats her like a mother. Insomnia dotes on Elayna, as she is her favourite but her intense affection can also make her extremely worried about Elayna. Elayna is not as worried, she loves Insomnia so much but she knows she's extremely strong and will do just about anything for her. Insomnia may be the only one who knows much about Elayna's past, while it's not got any crazy secrets in it Elayna doesn't feel the need to tell anyone about it, and would much rather talk about what's she's doing in the now.

Elayna also has a pet creature named Strawberry Mousse, they are rarely seen without each other and Elayna is often making matching outfits for them. Insomnia hates animals and is not a fan of Strawberry but with Elayna as her favourite and not wanting to upset her seeing how inseparable the two are, she will let this one pet slide.

Nymeria is another one of Insomnia's subjects or "pets" as she refers to them as, and a best friend of Elayna's. Elayna and her spend plenty of time together chatting, going out, reorganising their wardrobes and playing with Strawberry.

Cat is another demon lord Elayna is friends with, introduced to Elayna through Insomnia. Cat is one of Elayna's favourite guests to have at a tea party as she is a very good conversationalist. Elayna is still trying to convince her to something pink and frilly on, but it's a losing battle.

Vanilla is a popular singer and performer in the demon world, and Elayna happens to be a huge fan. Luckily for her, he happens to be one of Cat's subjects, and her favourite at that. So the two were soon introduced at one of Elayna's tea parties. They get along reasonably well, they love talking about fashion together and Elayna enjoys fangirling over him a little bit. This makes Niki a bit jealous of him and she can't help but be a bit suspicious of him, she tries to keep this to herself as not to upset Elayna.

Elayna was a custom design request done by Chookyfang created using a moodboard and character inspiration with a description of what I wanted. I can't remember exactly what I put in it but I remember Flonne from Disgaea (who I knew from Trinity Universe) being part of it. Other inspirations come from lolita and goth fashions, lots of 2000s anime vibes, Misa Amane being another inspiration. My other contribution to the original design aside from the orginal request was being given a lineart bust to colour in which she had her mouth open so I chose to give her blue insides.

Since her original design I have slowly changed some parts of her, beginning with making her tail a lot thicker. Other parts include, adjusting her main hairstyle, changing her main tail ornaments, adding small wings and adjusting her original outfit slightly. I've also given her a few new outfits and hairstyles, including one drawn by someone I did an art trade with. I always encourage people to put her in any outfit they would like to. I also have now stated that her hair is naturally quite curly so when its straight that means she's straightened it.
